One thing I love to do is table scapes and center pieces. Recently my church let me do a few for our women’s mug exchange, and I’d like to share the pictures here.

You can turn anything into a centerpiece. I happen to love animals, so here is a little puppy centerpiece I put together. By the way, all the stuffed animals either wish you a Merry Christmas or sing and dance.

Collections are wonderful centerpieces. You may recognize these, as I used the dollar store snow globes for my table settings for Christmas last year. This year I added gift boxes and my favorite snow globe for a snowy centerpiece.

Of course we must pay tribute to Santa at Christmas time, so here is a simple but cute centerpiece. I’m sure everyone has some type of Santa figurine, so just add a couple of candles on each side. Using a tray or cloth is the finishing touch. Remember the cloth doesn’t have to be a tablecloth or runner – a scarf, a throw, hey-even a sweater can be scrunched up and used.

Here is another alternative to a table cloth, and you just can’t go wrong with candles. This of course looked even better once we found a lighter and lit the thing. 

Finally, here is my table this year. I love those cinnamon smelling pine cones so incorporated them onto my table. I put down a plate, placed a tree figurine on top of a candle holder and stacked up the pine cones. My dining room smelled awesome. When I take the pine cones off the table, I’ll toss them into the fireplace to spread the scent in the living room.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed new year surrounded by all those that you love (in a warm, beautifully designed home)!
