As a lot of you know I teamed up with my friend and colleague, Holly Taylor from staging by Holly to offer a “staging for the holidays” decorating package. Both Holly and I have a love of design, and an equally obsessive love of Christmas decorating. So we knew this would be a lot of fun, however I didn’t realize just what a special time this would be for me. Holly and I connected with old friends, and we were welcomed into the homes of new ones. We shared pizza, stories and family memories. The holidays are wonderful but can also be stressful with all that there is to do – the shopping, cooking, entertaining, decorating, and the list goes on and on. So we were meet by grateful, and sometimes very weary homeowners, who repeatedly thanked us for offering this service. However, I was only too happy to help! In the mist of tangled tinsel, missing tree parts, non-working lights, and a mysterious creature crawling from a box, I once again was struck how blessed I am to be able to do what I love, alongside such amazing clients!
