Opps, am I promising too much?
I just read an article on how to write an irresistible blog introduction, and the first tip was to grab the reader by the title. Of course I was speed reading through so it is possible it was more like grab the reader with the title (if I have grabbed your title, I apologize). Anyway, here goes and I’ll begin with a confession:
Hi, my name is Teresa, a Professional Home Stager and Redsigner, and I have a fear of blogging.
I guess it all begin a few years ago while I was in the mist of writing my memoir (yet to publish btw). I mean everyone blogs, especially aspiring writers’ right? However, to me blog sounded too much like blah. Course I may have been mistaken, since there is something like a million blog posts a day now. Quite possibly I was simply in the wrong genre. So I’ve decided to leap into the blogosphere and focus on my passion of design. I hope to inspire, educate and entertain with home decorating information-from redesign, staging, and holiday décor to shopping tips-where the sales are, where to find the best of and how to restore life to those treasures found second hand. I thank you in advance for helping me work through my fear of blogging with your comments, suggestions and ideas (all very much appreciated), and I promise to do my best not to blah, blah, blah.
